Whats next #2

Say Hi!

Did I mention there is a menu/pause button now too?

Working on the 3rd heroine for the game. She will be a low fantasy character and her moves (both ground strikes and holds) will be heavily based on existing wrestling moves. Her costume will be a cheerleader's outfit and what you see here is only temporary. She is a face character as you probably guessed. In addition, she will feature throws! Throw works very similar to submissions: grab, then punish!

Compared to submissions, throws will be balanced to be stronger when characters are fresh and submissions are more effective when characters are tired. So make sure to test out different combinations!

Those who are keenly following the blog probably noticed a poll on how I am going to patch her in. (either in one big patch or patch her in gradually in multiple patches) Some of you already voted on it. Thanks! Feel free to discuss the pros and cons in the comments too.

I know some of you will be thrilled and others maybe a little disappointed on this particular character, but don't worry, I don't intend on stopping on the 3rd character and there will be more characters to come. Patience :D.

    1. Hi, thanks for the feedback! Can you describe in more detail the trouble with camera and when does it "getting out of focus everytime" precisely? I need to determine if this is caused a bug or if I need to make the camera easier to use.

    2. hi again, well after a few more tries i started to understand how to use the camera but there´re still a few things i find hard to control. mainly when i rotate the camera´s angle i have to move the mouse very slowly and with short moves cause if i do it fast, the camera loses the focus and closes-up the girls to the point of going through them

    3. I wasnt able to replicate any camera issues resulting from large mouse movement.

My best guess at the problem is that you tried to move the camera outside of allowed camera bounds (such as into the floor) and the system automatically zooms in the camera to keep it with in bounds.

One possible solution is to prevent camera movement all together instead of zooming it in when the player attempt to move the camera into the floor.

    4. yeah...playing a bit more i finally learned how the camera works, there was no problem with it after all.

thanks anyway for replying to my doubt

  4. The new Demo that came out is amazing and I can't wait to see how this new girl comes out, Hard to find any complaints. I know you probably have a ton of requests to have added on to the game, but if its not to much trouble like a last thing. Different ring scenery would be cool. Like a cage or something. Just an idea to help with your already amazing game.

    1. Thanks! Different environs is a good idea but it'll have to come later, at least from me. If mod makers/modelers are interested to have their environment/setting in game, contact me and we can probably work that in.

  5. Do you think you could add a 2-player versus mode? I would like to have full control over what happens in a match

    1. Definitely can. Will probably come around the same time as customizable controls.

  6. Is the throw/submission balance gonna be like "throws create more exhaustion and submissions capitalize on that for high sustained damage"?

    1. Thats more or less the idea.

    2. So in that sense, the game prioritizes submissions more as the main damage dealers than throws? Also is there/will there be an arousal/humiliation mechanic?

    3. They both are doing damage its just that damage of submission is tied with duration which is tied to how fresh/tired the character is. Damage of throws is more fixed.

There is arousal/humiliation mechanic already in game its just not shown via bars. Humiliation is actually fairly close to Rumble Roses but without the finisher. Finisher is something that I may or may not do.
