Alpha v0.112 - "Watch" feature released!

Feature patch today!

Download can be found at Heroine Rumble page. (From now on all the releases can be found at that page, this is also to serve as a remainder to keep that page up to date.)

Here is a screenshot of "Watch" in action:
Hands free to enjoy the view :)

"Watch" must be unlocked by defeating the difficulty 3 AI first

Full changelog (Oct 05 2016):

  • Added a "pause" button which also brings up the in game menu
  • Implemented a save/load system for game. Save file is at <you>/AppData/Roaming/HeroineRumbleSave/
  • Game now automatically saves your progress at the end of every match
  • Added a "watch" button. Enabling this will allow AI to control your character in a match. This is toggle-able so you may get back to the action at any time. This feature is hidden by default and you must defeat the lvl 3 difficulty AI to unlock it. (Because I need to test the save-load system + feedback on game mechanics, three birds with one stone :D )
    • If the "watch" button doesnt show up after you defeated lvl 3 AI, please leave a comment, could be a bug.
  • Disabled damage number pop ups, they are distracting and doesn't bring much to the game play
  • Reduced Helper Window size and changed Helper Window to only show your abilities (but hides the basic actions) after you won one match. Before you win one match, the Helper Window will only show the basic actions (but hides your abilities).
  • Changed the location of escape bar so it should be always in view.
  • re-tweaked lower difficulty AI to make them slightly more responsive
  • to reduce the snowball-y nature of the game, submission no longer cause HP damage (green bar).

The next patch will be a content patch releasing the 3rd heroine! (If all goes to plan)

  1. Umm quick question, what is the pause button? Cause I beat the lv 3 AI, and I know it saved because when up against the lv 3, it no longer said beating it would unlock watch.

    1. Pause button pauses the game. Once you beat the AI you show see a watch button to the left of pause button which enables AI for your character.

    2. No but where? The pause button isn't on the screen. That is the problem I have.

    3. So just to make sure, you dont see "pause" button during match regardless of whether you defeated the lvl 3 AI and "watch" button doesnt show up after you defeat lvl 3 AI. Does anyone else have this problem?

    4. I'm having this problem as well. No pause button anywhere on the screen. Even after defeating the lvl 3 AI, it is still nowhere to be found. Neither is the watch button.

    5. If you try to click where the pause button is (use the screen shot as a rough guide) does anything happen? I can not replicate this problem so its potentially very very difficult to fix.

    6. No, clicked everywhere near the bottom and I could not find it. I even deleted and re-downloaded it. Plus side the save feature works at least. No "beating the Lv3 AI unlocks watch mode" text.

    7. Thanks for your help! Believe or not just that simple test eliminated about half of possible problems. I think I may have located the problem and attempted a fix which will be in next patch.

    8. Glad to know that helped. Good luck for the next patch.

  3. Nice to “meet” you.
AI of level 3 is very very strong, and it can't be knocked down her. Could you tell how to win to AI?

    1. Treat the game more like dark souls and less like elder scrolls. In addition start with easier AIs to get familiar with game mechanics before attempting lvl 3 AI.

    1. You can guard when you are grabbed which prevents stamina loss.

  6. Oh no futa no please... -_-, please do not ruin this beautiful game with some crap >_>

It will be added later moves like sleeper hold, dragon sleeper and took more sexy as breast facesitting and smothering?
Mine is just a suggestion that is clear, not a claim, is that this new title I really like and it is a genre as rare as it is beautiful!

    1. Here is how to cheese the AI. 1.Circle like Dark Souls and wait for an attack. 2.Punch til you knock her down, might take two combos. 3.Do NOT attack her while she still has health, stand behind and wait til she gets up 4.When she loses all health then grab her. 5.Repeat. To Enlit, maybe have the AI randomly do a roll if you come to close, to at least throw off the rhythm? Cause as long as you don't attack she just gets up normally.

    2. I always find these kind of comments interesting because if the AI can do a half hour combo juggling you then by extension you should be able to do the same to the AI?

"maybe have the AI randomly do a roll if you come to close, to at least throw off the rhythm? Cause as long as you don't attack she just gets up normally."

      Good idea.

    3. Thanks. I just thought of something else. If you or your opponent got up facing the enemy that would work too, at least while they still have health. I noticed that when I attacked when they got up, they would sometimes block but since I was behind her it didn't matter. Hope it helps. I'm not a professional tester in any regard, just someone who Dark Souls made pay attention to the little details.

  8. Is it possible to change the amount of damage that a h-move does depending on if the area that is being attacked is still clothed or not? It feels like a minor detail, but one that makes sense in my mind at least.

Maybe I should launch a case study for more research on this matter. For Science! of course..
